Comaneci is also involved with a range of charitable organizations as a member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. Additionally she has continued to support dozens of charities within her home country of Romania which includes Romania's Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
